This was the weekend of food.
It started off with a bang when I went to my bishop's house on Friday night with my BFF neighbor Tracy (that's what we refer to each other as). Our bishop's wife is from Thailand and is a great cook, and back in December I had bid in a charity auction for dinner at the bishop's house. Best idea ever. She made like 10 native Thai dishes, and it was all that we and the two other couples could do to made a dent in the delicious food. I ate way too much, let's be honest with each other. Highlights: two kinds of curry and spring rolls. Wow. It was great.
Then Saturday mom and dad came down and visited Melodie and I. (Steph was not around). We went out to Brick Oven. Great pizza. Ate way too much.
Then Sunday was the proverbial icing on the cake. Due to us having stake conference at 2 p.m., a group of friends and I had "Classy Breakfast". This consisted of like 10 fantastic breakfast dishes. Highlights: Delicious egg concoction in ramekins, scones, some kind of Latino strawberry drink, and brown sugar grapefruit. For the third day in a row, I ate until I could hold no more. Sidenote: We could only discuss classy things at this classy breakfast. Things like classical music, art, and general high-brow subjects were encouraged. This was more of a challenge for some of us than others.
That's a great weekend.

Darrell, thank again for taking me to the Thai dinner. It was freaking A-Mazing! I also ate too much. P.S. What are you doing before FHE today? Lets go take your picture in front of the graffiti wall and add you to the photography blog. :o)
Let me know... should only take a few minutes.
I like the idea of classy breakfast - totally funny.
Oh, and watch out for BFF's - just sayin'
