Five Crowns Domination

So I was playing cards ("Five Crowns" to be exact) with my mom, Melodie, and Jay this Christmas break. To give some background to this story, I had pretty much been the dominant force during any family game that had happened recently. This of course irked everyone else, who had constantly been beaten down game after game.
And thus it was with this game. After 5 straight rounds of me "laying down" first, their anger turned to threats that if I kept winning, they were going to kick me out of the game. The next hand... I layed down first again. That's when they kicked me out of the game.
I consider this a badge of honor. Being kicked out of the game for being too good.
And they wouldn't even let me play Ticket to Ride at all today.

People like you (er, um... Derek) are the reason I stopped playing Checkers and Chess many moons ago.

Now I have this mental image of you sitting all alone in the corner, looking on longingly while your family plays Ticket to Ride. A badge of honor, yes, but it's lonely at the top.
